We do not require a signature for your package to be delivered by FedEx. If FedEx has left packages at your door without a signature in the past, chances are the driver will do so again.
Situations where FedEx has not left a package at the front door include...
- Theft : FedEx Driver is afraid the package will be stolen if left at door (FedEx drivers are held responsible for stolen packages)
- Business or Commercial : The address is a business and the business is closed.
- Apartments : If delivering to an apartment and you are not home (We suggest leaving a note on your door telling the FedEx driver to deliver the package to the manager's office. If a note is not left, many times the driver will not deliver the package).
- Gated Community : If the driver does not have a way to access your neighborhood or apartment complex because an access code is required.
If you have your tracking number and your package was not delivered on the set day, first call FedEx at 1800-GO-FEDEX, press 0, then 0 again and ask the representitive to help you find your package.
